This talk presents an esoteric viewpoint of the subject of meditation and its relation to healing. The effects of the strong energies that enter consciousness during meditation is discussed, and the way that they throw out negativities, via chakras, of which the organs of the body and the glands are the externalisations. Energy follows thought, and everything is an effect of energy dynamics. When strong energies impact upon letharic substance then that substance must be converted or eliminated. When this happens, then there is a possibility of sicknesses and psychological problems happening, which the meditator needs to be aware of. There are some terms used in the talk whose meaning will be unfamiliar to many of the viewers, some of which are explained below.

The dark brotherhood are the forces of evil on this planet. They are not ‘dark’ because of the colour of their skin, but because of the nature of the emanation of their auras. They were practitioners of black magic and sorcery in past epochs of human history, and have now incarnated into positions of power (corporate, financial and political) all over the world. Manipulative scheming, mass applied psychology, financial or political coercion in all modes of obtaining ruthless power are their modus operandi. They can be called the Lords of Materialism, and generally encourage humanity to focus on such things as: money, greed, fear, hate, ambition, divisiveness, sex and material or psychic power.

The white brotherhood (a group of people sharing a common purpose) are the Council of Bodhisattvas, the Hierarchy of Light and Love, whose members have incarnated into all races and nations, and who actively work all over the world to counter this evil. They are ‘white’ because of the comparative radiance of their auras. Their work is to foster evolutionary goals: the lifting of all incarnate Life from darkness into inestimable realms of Light and Love. The forces of evil are their ‘brothers’ from former cycles of activity that have chosen a path that opposes that of the engendering of Love.

Like the Council of Bodhisattvas, the evil forces also manifest under a hierarchical system, and are highly organized. United thus they also therefore manifest as a ‘brotherhood’, albeit one that is totally bereft of Love. They work together because that is the best way that they can achieve their self-centred ambitions. They are therefore brothers (and women) of the darkness that share the various attributes of the modes of fostering ignorance, disharmony, aggressiveness, sickness, pain and death upon all they purvey. Collectively therefore they are the Brotherhood of Evil. The Bodhisattvas on the other hand share a methodology of projecting the energies of Love and Light to foster health, goodwill and evolutionary progression upon all beings. Collectively they are a Brotherhood of Love.

Saṃskāras are the impressions from actions (of emotions, etc.) done in former incarnations and which are carried through to this one, thereby becoming the basis for one’s present karma. They also refer to the effects of present actions that will bear fruit in later lives.
Kleśas are the force of defilements, afflictive, dissident emotions, generally signified as the three poisons: delusion, attachment, and hatred. They are qualities that cause one to attach to all aspects of the formed realms, and to identify with them as the real.
